Born in Brescia on July 27, 2004, I began to experience football as a child. My education began at San Giacomo and Brescia, but it was at Atalanta that I built the foundations for the player I am today. Seven years with the Nerazzurri, from 2013 to 2020, taught me the value of hard work, dedication, and intensity.

My talent caught the attention of Benfica, where I continued my development between Portugal and Europe’s most competitive leagues. Paris Saint-Germain believed in me, and that jersey was a dream come true. A loan spell at Beşiktaş in Turkey allowed me to experience a different football culture, further enriching my knowledge.

In February 2025, the call I’d been waiting for came: to return to Italy and wear the purple jersey of Fiorentina. Florence welcomed me with enthusiasm, and I responded on the pitch with determination. On December 21, 2025, I scored my first Serie A goal against Udinese, an unforgettable moment that reinforced my belief that I was in the right place.

Standing 1.90 meters tall, with great physicality and technique with both feet, my role is that of a modern midfielder: blocking, tireless running, aggressive in closing down. Every game is a battle to be won, every ball recovered is a step towards the team’s victory.

Alongside Fiorentina, I proudly wear the blue Under-21 shirt, with which I participated in the 2025 European Championship. Being champion of the Under-19 European Championship in 2023 with Italy was a unique feeling that made me understand what it means to represent your country at the highest level.

My roots are Italian and Senegalese, two cultures I carry dear to my heart and that have shaped me into the footballer and man I am. My goal is to continue to grow, help Fiorentina achieve important goals, and one day wear the jersey of the Italian or Senegalese senior national teams.

With my eyes fixed on the future and my feet firmly on the field, my story has just begun.
